Blast From The Past

I used to love watching alot of shows in the past when i was just a little young boy. Like most of us we like to dream about what are we going to be when we grow up. But mostly some don't succeed in what we do and turned up doing something else but still we keep those dreams in our heart hoping that we could see and live through it again.
As a boy I used to watch alot of movies like knight Rider, Blue Thunder, Magnum, Hammer and other action movies but I personally love the series "AIRWOLF" coz till now it never felt to amaze me eventhough it is an old movie and the stunts are now possible. But consider this, not many aerial stunts are done in movie series in those days, so this is most likely something special in those days.

*For some who haven't watch it before. This is one thing that I mention where it never fails to amaze me. If you look closely at the copper blades they are quite close to the ground, and most of the scenes of the helicopter are shown flying at lower ground and there is other stunts too. Let's take a glimpes on what I meant from a short clip at the following.

* And if you are not impress on that short flying trip, Here's something I forked up about it's weaponary. Do Enjoy!!

* The Theme Song still makes me chilly and excited when ever I hear it played. How nostalagic.

Airwolf rocks!

Love Airwolf.

It's officially the World's Most Famous Helicopter. I showed this to a kid the other day and he have never heard of anything called AirWolf!

How times have moved on.

I grew up watching and loving Knight Rider and Blue Thunder, but recently I saw reruns of them and found out how much the cinematography and stories sucked. However, Airwolf still rocks, even for a 20+ year old production series, and just imagine the astronomical costs of maintaining a helicopter for a video shoot! I bet with today's tight-ass insurance companies, they would never allow such a television program stunt to be made in modern times, and it would all be computer generated anyway.

It was the first time and last I have ever seen any series of such high production value anymore. Oh, the stories rocked too.

Btw, the helicopter actually looks like a killer whale, but thank goodness the producers didn't call it AirWhale!!

after all those movie clips

after all those movie clips it made me wanting to seach for the model of that aircraft to be put in my show case for childhood rememberance...
