The Cell Paranoia

It seem's like the title was over...I mean too much. And no I dun have an addiction, at least not gambling and taking drugs . Rather, I have a hobby which I would check out most of the time when I go out to the city.

I do have hobbies which I would grow crazy going about with it like everyone else. Mine in particular is old stuff which still works and would like to keep it nicely in some show case one day.

One of the stuff which I like is collecting Cellphones which I would wish I could afford once before that I could now, due to price drop and fast technology updates.
But some of the collectables are still in my hometown (Miri,Sarawak) which are already out of the trend these days due to the function's and colours and these two years I had made sure it works just as it is.

Since like two years ago I had made some more collectables which these phones are once what I thought of having and now I could, with a minimal price or for some handed down by close relatives who went for an "Upgrade". One of the beauty of living in a larger city is that in smaller cities these phones would cost more and hard to find but here (KL) it is everywhere with reasonable price.

*An LG F2400 phone worth the price, drop it a few times but still for a flip phone it is quite durable compare to other flip phones. (Even went down the stairs all by itself).

*Sony Ericsson T630i Which was handed down by my sister . She sort of went towards an upgrade to a samsung X680.

*Nokia 6600 is probably the best piece so far I had for now, came in with a 128mb MicroSD card and still happy with it.

*The Asus V55 was actually my first colour screen and camera phone. It was cheap, cute and small but it had not had the features I needed like bluetooth and even IR transfer. Bought this two years ago in SIBU,sarawak while work travelling.

The Samsung V200 is actually a nice phone coz the camera was actually rotary(front to back) and it works well too. Only set back is the flip was quite loose when I found the bugger.Still it works fine.

*Nokia 3200 was actually a great phone at the time which was quite affordable too during it's era. The functions are complete, IR connectivity(at the time bluetooth was not available),CIF camera and a freakin Torchlight.

This is the latest gig...The Sony Ericsson Z550i, And it is New too.

I also used a range too back home in Miri, which was Nokia 1600, 2300, 8850, 3310, 7110, 8110 and the Classic 505 ; Samsung T200, X-430 and SGH600; SonyEricsson T100; Siemens C25, C35i and S35i ; Alcatel and Sagem phone which are out of date as they say.

Anyway, I am waiting eagerly for others price fall, Like the Nokia 5500, 5300 and the N93.

I am doing this for fun anyway.
